指挥家简介:
意大利裔年轻指挥家和钢琴家安东尼奥·帕帕诺爵士 (Antonio Pappano)，1959年12月30日生于英国。2005年，帕帕诺接棒成为英国皇家歌剧院乐团音乐总监。在这位“指挥新天王”的领导下，乐团的国际地位越发突出，被英国《Classic FM》杂志评为当今世界十大乐团之一。他的指挥所展现的是意大利式的奔放和热度。在2011年的北京演出中，乐团得到了国内很多乐评人的褒扬，乐团以热情洋溢、充满灵感的表演征服了观众。帕帕诺作为一名意大利裔指挥，他形容“音乐应该像煮得很有嚼劲的意大利细面，非常有韧劲但绝对不糊。每一个音色都应该像威尼托葡萄制成的阿玛朗尼葡萄酒的色泽，很甜，但酒精纯度很高。”

伦敦交响乐团（London Symphony Orchestra）成立于1904年，伦敦现存历史最久远的交响乐团，代表着英国交响乐团的最高水平。在与众多世界级指挥家的广泛合作中，它的风格一直在通过不停的磨练而逐渐完善。伦敦交响乐团擅长将各个时期作曲家不同风格的作品演奏得极为出色，素有“万能型”英国交响乐团之称；同时，它和英国BBC交响乐团、伦敦爱乐管弦乐团共同代表了英国演奏团体的最高水平。
